We’re proud to have such a fantastic line up of interesting, informative and even fun speakers at our Sustainability in Veterinary Practice and Beyond live online CPD course, on Wednesday 27th January. In partnership with Vet Sustain.
In addition to the varied sessions on sustainability in all aspects of veterinary life, the day will see Rosie Brandreth-Poynter, Vet and Great British Bake-Off Semi-finalist running a live lunchtime cookery demonstration – making tempting cookies and answering questions with Sean McCormack, Naturalist, Vet and Podcaster.
Plus, break times see sustainability campaigner and author Jen Gale discussing how veterinary professionals can lead a more sustainable life, and Jess French, CBeebies presenter, children’s author and vet entertaining us with a chat about her conservation titles for children.
Highlights from the packed session agenda include:
• Professor the Lord Trees drawing from his work in the House of Lords and providing examples of how veterinary leadership can support change towards a more sustainable future.
• Laura Higham, founder and a co-director of Vet Sustain discussing how to influence sustainability in wider society.
• Ellie West suggesting her top 10 steps to introduce environmentally friendly management into veterinary clinics, drawing from her experiences since becoming Environmental Sustainability Lead at Linnaeus during the COVID pandemic.
